BCCI give 1 year Central Contracts which comes in three categories while Captain and other very senior players are usually given a special category as Category A+. Below we breakdown how BCCI central contract actually looks like and how much players in each category are paid annually.

Indian Cricket Team Central Contracts 2024/25: An yearly contract is signed between players who represent India and BCCI which is known as Central Contract. Players are divided into different categories and pay scales. Each category comes with specified yearly retainer fee plus per match fee for all three formats. There are certain bonuses as well usually for personal performances.

Players are not offered Central Contracts can still make it into the contract automatically if they play three test matches, 8 ODIs or 10 T20I matches during the year. If any player meet the requirement who dont have Central Contract already is automatically placed in Category C for that year. In general top players in Category A+ and A can usually clear around INR 10 Crore ($1.2 million) from their central contracts.
