McLaren Racing

McLaren Racing is one of the most legendary and successful teams in Formula 1 history. Founded in 1963 by New Zealand driver and engineer Bruce McLaren, the team entered Formula 1 in 1966 and claimed its first win just two years later.

With Mercedes power and Adrian Newey’s design, McLaren added more titles in the late ‘90s and famously saw Lewis Hamilton win in 2008. After a challenging period with Honda and Renault engines, McLaren rebounded by switching back to Mercedes in 2021. Now, with young and talented drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, McLaren is once again challenging for wins and aiming to become a championship contender.

McLaren Wage bill of 2024-25: For the 2024–25 season, McLaren's wage bill for its two drivers at around $26 million (roughly €22.02 million or £19.05 million) for this campaign. Lando Norris clearly stands out as the highest‑paid driver of the team. He earns around $20 million annual (approx. €18.6 million or £17.2 million).
