LCR Honda
LCR Honda is a long-time MotoGP team based in Monaco but operated by Italian team boss Lucio Cecchinello. The team was started in 1996 and first competed in the 125cc and 250cc classes before moving up to MotoGP in 2006.
LCR stands for Lucio Cecchinello Racing, and the team has been known for giving opportunities to talented riders and working closely with Honda as a satellite team. For the 2024–25 season, LCR Honda has two riders: Johann Zarco and Somkiat Chantra. Their main goal is to develop young talent and help Honda improve its bike performance in the championship. The team uses Honda’s RC213V machine and works closely with HRC (Honda Racing Corporation).
